Talisman Lab’s orthodontic department fabricates the full spectrum of removable and fixed orthodontic appliances. From simple retention devices to complex functional appliances, every unit is crafted from the records you provide using materials specified for the clinical situation.
Hawley retainers — Upper and lower Hawley retainers with custom acrylic colour options. Standard wire configuration or modified on request.
Essix / Vivera-style retainers — Thermoformed clear retainers for post-ortho retention; 0.75 mm or 1.0 mm material thickness available.
Space maintainers — Fixed band-and-loop, lower lingual arch, or removable designs for primary-to-permanent transition management.
Functional appliances — Twin Block, Bionator, Herbst (removable), and modified appliances on prescription. Full construction bite records required.
Clear aligner fabrication — We fabricate sequential clear aligner series from your approved digital treatment plan. Compatible with Invisalign-export STL files and third-party digital plans.
Occlusal splints — Hard acrylic Michigan splints and softer night guards; anterior deprogrammers on request.
The records required vary by appliance type. In general:

Hawley retainers: 4–5 business days. Essix retainers: 3–4 business days. Functional appliances: 8–12 business days. Clear aligner series (per stage batch): 5–7 business days.
